Here are some pics of me at the Autocross event today at Firebird. Saw a couple of other 8's there. I would like to thank them for all the help! Enjoy the pics. My first run I did around 42sec, but my best time of the day was 37.8, not too shabby for a first timer.

Congrats eastsurf! Nice pics - I've never tracked my 8 but have certainly considered it. If only I didn't have to worry about orange cone marks all up and down my car...

Lake run????

I saw someone with a really nice lotus that put blue painters tape on the front bumper and just in front of the rear tire, the only places youll hit something. Also the cones have been hit so many times they are really soft. I just have to buff out a couple of spots, nothing permanant.

DrifterX...I the novice 1 class I placed 10th out of 28 people in the class. That is based on a adjusted time they come up with to keep all the novices together no matter what they drive. Its just some formula they plug your time, car, class etc into.

 

nice stuff. Looking at your sig, you have an 05 Suzuki SV650S, too? Damn, we are a lot alike, I "had" a 2005 SVS with an M4 high-mount, power commander, and a GSX-R front end and brakes. Always wish I didn't sell it. And I live in Phoenix. Small world.

 

If you realy want to have fun take a HDPE course.

 

I thought of that, but it is a lot harder on your car,tires,brakes etc. Plus this was 20 bucks? I would definately do it again
