Red face Looking for an RX8 in the price range of 18k

I'm near the seattle area and was wondering if anyone had any RX8s (manual) for sale in my price range, under 30k miles, color doesn't matter, it can always be painted.

But before I buy I would like to know more about RX8s Some questions I have are:

I heard that 04s have had a lot of trouble and need repairs - is this true? Should I want an 05 instead of an 04?

How is insurance compared to an RSX - I know it is less expensive, but buy how much?

The 8 gets low MPG but does it make up for it in insurance?

What is the difference between sport, touring and grand touring?

you sure are asking a lot of noob questions. do some research first, read the sticky threads, etc. and then come back on. i'll humor you and answer a few of the questions:

-04 vs. 05 - as long as you get the updates/TSBs you should be fine.
-insurance - ask your insurance company to get your quotes
-mpg - don't even ask this question if you want an 8
-trim levels - go to mazda's site and read about them

oh, and for what it's worth - $18K should get you an '04 or '05 under 30K miles easily.
