this type of pneumatic regualtion has been around forever. suprised it took this long to be incorperated into a wastgate.

on a side note.. anyone here play paintball? this vid brought back some sweet memories.

there seems to be more friction in the synchronic design and his point about the floppy diafram giving no support WTF? that isn't the diaframs job it's the guides job

 

My wastegate spring on the Greddy was defective Wouldn't hold boost past 6.5 psi. Even though I had 2 different boost controllers tried with it. Had to order a new one, and they acknowledged that the initial batches (some) springs were weak. They put on stronger springs in batches after that.

 

Are you talkin' about an internal gate on the GReddy turbo kit or did you have an external wastegate setup?

 

Yes, the wastegate spring from the internal wastgate.
