Red face Ohlins Instructions - Know Japanese??? Come In!

Well I ordered a set of the Ohlins coilovers but the instructions are in Japanese (understandably, since I got them from Japan). However, I have a question on the instructions before I go any further. I have attached an image of the page in question and am looking to see if anyone can translate teh circled caption for me? This part isn't included in the kit and I can't tell what it is to make sure I dont' skip over something important when I install it in conjunction with my AP Racing Brake kit.

I took two semesters of Japanese in college, but have lost most of it since then...doh.

Also google translator doesn't come back with anything except the pronunciation of the characters - no meaning for the word. I am especially interested in what the box says.

Thanks in advance!

Hmmmmmm. my Japanese is pretty lame, especially with technical instructions but here is my take.

It talks about 3 pieces (as you probably figured out)
a) the upper mount
b) the PIRO collar
c) the Distance mount

You can pattern match to find out which one is which against the diagram.

The phrase says something like: The upper mount includes (or should hold) the piro collar and the distance collar.

I guess basically, don't forget to stick in these bits when installing as per the diagram :-D

Not sure what all those bits are called in English...

Tom.

Rode in an Evo with Ohlins. It was very nice compliant and capable, but I'm not sure if it was worth the price of admission.

I wasn't aware Ohlin was selling for the RX-8.

Tom, thanks for your help! I did go back through the box and tucked away in there was a spacer that I didn't see the first time around, so it did come with the coilovers after all.

Team Rx8: Yeah they were pricey but they have all the features that I was looking for and a pedigree that can't be beat. In looking for instructions from the manufacturer I did find out that Ohlins USA actually has some of these here on the shelf in the US...could have saved quite a bit if I had known that before importing them from Japan.

Red Devil: Compliant and capable is exactly what I was looking for. I'll make sure to let everyone know my impressions.
