Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix

Oh Goodness, Michael Schumacher's problems just dont end. Broken tranny in the 3rd round of qualifying. He looked very pissed while he stormed out of his car in the ferrari pits. This is going to make his job very hard after blowing hie engine in japan. Starting in 10th is not going to make his job easy especially since Alonso is starting in 4th. Come on Schumi, pull one out one last time!

Michael isn't going to win the driver's championship. It will take the drive of his life and the million in one chance, Alonso crashes/finishes outside of points paying position. The only thing he can do is help the Manufacturer's championship title. It'll be interesting to see tomorrow's race to say the least what will happen.

If the trans it broken and has to be repaired, won't he have to start from the pitlane? After qualifying is over the cars are suppose to be in Park Ferme (spelling?). Plus he didn't get a installation lap in the last round of qualifying.

Good for him, maybe he will try to take Alonso out of the race like he tried to do with Jacques Villeneuve in 1997.

....is what Im thinking he/Massa might do as a last desperate measure. That would obviously be nuts though.

Anyway, you know who Im rooting for regardless

Knowing the way Villeneuve races, Jacques was probably blocking a pass and Schumacher was the faster car trying to pass. Also, I don't see what good taking those 2 cars out would do to anything. It wouldn't win any extra points for Schumacher or Ferrari. Schumacher is grided so far back that if he could catch Alonso, Schumacher would clearly have the faster car and it would benefit Renault if Alonso took out Schumacher. Not the other way around.

Thats true. Dont know what we were thinking. MS has to win, Alonso has to place 9th or worse. A longshot...

You spoke too soon lurch519. He had a left rear flat and had to pit. He's screwed.

Imagine where he would be had that not happened. He would be fighting for first by now. Mind you, he started 10th. That is unbelievable by itself. He's still got a lot of fight in him.

He's 10th again. He dropped as far back as 20th. Man he is piloting a rocket ship!

Yea, that was because Rubens pitted. There is absolutely no reason for Michael to be ashamed of today no matter what happens.
