Formula 1 Brazilian Grand Prix

Oh Goodness, Michael Schumacher's problems just dont end. Broken tranny in the 3rd round of qualifying. He looked very pissed while he stormed out of his car in the ferrari pits. This is going to make his job very hard after blowing hie engine in japan. Starting in 10th is not going to make his job easy especially since Alonso is starting in 4th. Come on Schumi, pull one out one last time!

moRotorMotor 10-21-2006 06:26 PM

Michael isn't going to win the driver's championship. It will take the drive of his life and the million in one chance, Alonso crashes/finishes outside of points paying position. The only thing he can do is help the Manufacturer's championship title. It'll be interesting to see tomorrow's race to say the least what will happen.

If the trans it broken and has to be repaired, won't he have to start from the pitlane? After qualifying is over the cars are suppose to be in Park Ferme (spelling?). Plus he didn't get a installation lap in the last round of qualifying.

Good for him, maybe he will try to take Alonso out of the race like he tried to do with Jacques Villeneuve in 1997.

....is what Im thinking he/Massa might do as a last desperate measure. That would obviously be nuts :Eyecrazy: though.

Anyway, you know who Im rooting for regardless :mdrmed:

Knowing the way Villeneuve races, Jacques was probably blocking a pass and Schumacher was the faster car trying to pass. Also, I don't see what good taking those 2 cars out would do to anything. It wouldn't win any extra points for Schumacher or Ferrari. Schumacher is grided so far back that if he could catch Alonso, Schumacher would clearly have the faster car and it would benefit Renault if Alonso took out Schumacher. Not the other way around.

Thats true. Dont know what we were thinking. MS has to win, Alonso has to place 9th or worse. A longshot...

Do you guys know what other networs will air the coverage of the final race? I know Speed is on now and TSN will do it at a much later time.

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:07 PM

yay, schumacher is already up 4 spots

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 12:23 PM

You spoke too soon lurch519. He had a left rear flat and had to pit. He's screwed.

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:43 PM

yeah, fiscichella cut his rear left when schumacher passed him, thats messed up

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 12:46 PM

Imagine where he would be had that not happened. He would be fighting for first by now. Mind you, he started 10th. That is unbelievable by itself. He's still got a lot of fight in him.

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:47 PM

yay again, schumacher is now up to 12th

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:48 PM

though i think he shoulda taken on fuel when he pitted for the tire

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:49 PM

oh, he did get fuel on that stop

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 12:52 PM

He's 10th again. He dropped as far back as 20th. Man he is piloting a rocket ship!

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:54 PM

8th now, go!!!!!!!!!!!!!! schumacher

lurch519 10-22-2006 12:56 PM

wow, his team gifted him the car from the race, lucky guy

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 12:59 PM

7th.

lurch519 10-22-2006 01:00 PM

god he is a BAS ASS driver. now he is in 7th. can he do it. to go from 10th to 7th is not bad as a driver. to go from 6th to last then back to 7th with 29 laps still to go, thats fracking amazing

lurch519 10-22-2006 01:05 PM

6th 6th 6th!!!!!!!!!!!

lurch519 10-22-2006 01:08 PM

ok back to 8th now, but he pitted, everyone ahead of him has to pit still

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 01:08 PM

Yea, that was because Rubens pitted. There is absolutely no reason for Michael to be ashamed of today no matter what happens.

lurch519 10-22-2006 01:14 PM

no, not at all, hes got a shot at 3rd at least. i have to say this is a race of a lifetime

moRotorMotor 10-22-2006 01:32 PM

OMG he is 4th!!!
