i need imput on the setup that i am about to attempt. i want to access the rear accessory plug. tap into it with a line tap using 18 awg wire. run that wire to a terminal strip mounted on my amp rack. run wire from amp and crossover to this terminal strip for 12v turn on. i want the terminal strip for extra options later. Ex. cooling fans for my amp and led lighting for amp and crossover. i would also like to know if on my crossover i can just jump the turn on wire to the +12v connection. i would really like your feed back on this.

 

One thing you might want to consider is that the rear accessory plug turns off when the key is off. Might be just what you want too.

 

Sounds like a plan.
It should be OK to power the crossover from there too.
