Sad to say, due to my age and a change in my health status I have decided to put my RX8 up for sale.
I'm posting it here before putting it up for auction if there is no interest among members......
It's a 2006 Shinka, Copper Red, w/ 36k+ miles, AT.. (I'm told this engine is upgraded (more reliable) from 2004-2005)
I intended this to be my last car so the updates I did with engine was to make it more reliable and
longer lasting. (Life takes a change sometimes...........)
According to the guy I bought it from, most of it's life was spent in a Florida west coast garage, so the dash has no cracks.
It has always had Premix. Looks like under 2K miles per year...
Upgrades: New set of engine cooling fans, Aluminum over flow tank with lower temp fan switch and low level senser included.
Lower temp thermostats on both the oil coolers, as well as stone guards for all 3 radiator (1 engine coolant , 2 oil cooler ) New battery,
plugs, plug wires, custom fitted windshield/dash board cover (sun shield) . (If there is any interest in the old parts I can put them in trunk.)
In the trunk there are: steel jacked brake hoses, speed bleeders, trany fluid filter and gasket, idemitsu Permix oil (6+qts) and travel case for the oil in trunk,
wheel locks, brake fluid and a few quarts of 10 W40 dinosaur oil.
I also had a set of Sheep Skin seat covers installed. (cool in the summer warm in the winter.)

I car has never failed to start (quickly) hot or cold. I never move the car before it warming up..
She sees 7k RPM any time it is driven.

I have about $17K+ invested in it and I know I will not get all my money back but that's fine.

Yes, I know it's an automatic but there just might be someone out there
who is not interested in impressing the girls by making stinky donuts in the parking lot
but just wants a great car for touring.....(Humans have some very strange mating rituals )

Thanks...I've had a good run but I'm getting ready for my next stage in life .............

Not looking forward to lying of my back under cars any more so I'm as they "culling the heard" ........

But I still go to look at the cars on BAT every morning..........

Oh I'm guilty of that too I'm not young and the energy level to do my own brake jobs is a little more difficult (but yeah I lurk BAT and that doesn't help either when I see super nice cars like yours pop up) anyway you're welcome good luck on the sale
