26B 4 Rotor Engine Parts kit (New)

Category: Accessories
Price: $7200
Private or Vendor Listing: Private Listing
Part Fits (you may select multiples): Others, Series I, Series II
Location (US State/Canada/Int): ND
Item Condition: New

Selling some of my 4 rotor parts that I bought in 2019. These are new, never used. I am happy to take/send more pictures if requested.

The items are-
26B Center Plate Kit (BOTH Front and Rear center plates) - Brand new center irons that are machined to hold modified RX8 Front Stationary Gears. This gives the Eccentric Shaft additional support along its length and keeps the rotor aligned as well. Unlike the 20B 'thick' center iron, these are the same thickness as the 13b center irons while still retaining strength and support. The other added benefit is that the cast iron retains the stationary gears better than aluminum plates with the same modification. These also have the external oil feed modification to keep the bearing lubricated.

26B Dowel Set- 1 solid 'full length' dowel and 2 'split' dowels with 10mm thru holes.

26B 12 mm Bolt Set- there are 16- 12mm (oversized) thru bolts and 2- 10mm thru bolts (for inside the dowels). The irons will need simple/quick machining to accept the oversized bolts.

My goal was to build a PP 4 Rotor, but I'm tired of having these sitting on my desk while I try to find time to work on it.

I am asking $7,200 (includes basic shipping within continental US).
I will ship them within 1 business day of the money clearing/deal finalizing; I am in North Dakota so there is no waiting on customs or intercontinental shipping.
I'll answer any questions that I can.

Note: I also have a 4 rotor Eccentric Shaft assembly (with rear counter weight), but I don’t really want to sell it. An additional $7,500 would take it off of my hands.

Thank you!
-Jon

These are Jeff Bruce's (Precision Engineering) design/work, as sold by Billet Rotary.
So you were pretty close with NZ!

thanks, the iron oiling mod is similar to same for the Green Bro’s center roller bearing mod for their 2-pc 13B e-shaft

can’t go wrong with Bruce/Precision though …

I'm always amazed at your in-depth knowledge of rotary stuff. I had never even heard of Green Bros.
The craftsmanship is very good and the design is very smart. It really is an impressive kit.
The only downside for me was that it took about 4 months to get the parts lol. Oh and I was hit with an additional charge from UPS due to the weight.
But everything else was awesome!

Damn those primary ports are itty-bitty. This bad boy is asking for some peripheral intake port action

yeah, OE size for sure, but easily modified depending on the goal

I have said GB 2-pc e-shaft in my possession, that’s how I know, but would rather have the Xtreme Rotary version instead if it were possible. Sadly they are no more and long gone.

Seconded! I might be interested once my income level catches up to what such a project would require... LOL

If it's still available in like 8 years let me know!

That was my plan! Which is why I didn't bother porting these at all.

Oh man I didn't realize Xtreme went under. That's too bad. Is this the one you are talking about?

Hahaha I took out a personal loan at the time so my bank account didn't take such a big hit. And I got a good rate.

I'm going to redo the ad and add in the eccentric shaft. Not much point in me keeping it without the irons!

If this weren't a 4 rotor I would have be interested. Imo, it's going to be a tough sale but looks to be the skeleton of a fine engine.

In all reality, the easiest route would be to have it assembled by a reputable builder and then put up for sale as a running unit. It's what I'd do.

Not a bad plan, but I'm not about to drop another 30k into having someone else do the work. Not saying they aren't worth it as far as their craftsmanship, but if I'm going to spend that kind of money I'd just build it myself and put it in my car. And if it doesn't sell that's what I'll be doing lol.
Right now I plan to sell this and buy an REW, WPC coat everything, Turbo, E85, PP, and tune for 300 WHP and 600 WHP.
If I don't sell these I will just do a 4 rotor, WPC coated, TT, PP, E85, tunes for 400, 600, 800, 1000 whp. The 400 will be tough since it's so low, but the 1000 shouldn't be hard as long as I design my cooling appropriately. I'm sure I'll shred some axles while I sort that though lol.

I say 'coating' knowing full well WPC is a surface treatment and not a coating... just wanted to clarify.

Thoughts around a NA 4 rotor build? NA 4 rotor would absolutely be a dream swap for a 8 for me.

The only reason I plan to turbo it is because I want to do time attack, and just to keep up horsepower-wise with the top drivers I will need the boost.
If that wasn't the case, I would 100% be doing NA. It's much simpler, a fair bit lighter, more reliable, and much much cheaper.
With this kit, you could pick up 2 Renesis engines, an ECU (FuelTech, Haltech, Adaptronic, etc.) and be putting down 400 WHP with NO effort and ~3500 into the build (obviously excluding this kit).
If you were to do a hybrid exhaust port style (peripheral exhaust) you can push the 600 WHP. I believe Logan Carswell's NA 4 Rotor is putting down mid 600 at the tires, and it has a great torque curve (lots of area under the curve).
The NA 4 rotor would have a crazy linear powerband and still put down crazy controllable power. If you were to get wild and do a full PP and variable length intake runners (shouldn't be too hard in 2021, stepper motor and sensor for throttle and rpm) you could start edging into the 787B territory.

Interested in this kit?

My apologies everyone. I forgot to update this listing. I sold this set quite a while ago.
