Semi-Solid OEM Engine Mounts - Urethane Filled
$150 + shippingI have a spare set of gutted and urethane filled OEM engine mounts. With this setup, you'll gain more planted and tighter handling, as well as crisper shifting.

These were professionally modified. The 80A urethane was properly vacuum degassed and cured in a pressure chamber to ensure ZERO air bubbles or voids.

The OEM mounts are used, but the rubber has no tears and is in excellent condition, and the threads for mounting the engine to the mounts are clean.

I will accept cores for a $50 credit (granted they are in a rebuildable condition).

I can offer this as a service, as well, if there is demand for it, but I do not currently have a stock of cores. If enough people are interested, I may be able to source a couple sets of mounts to have ready so that I can ship out the filled mounts first, and then you could send back your cores.

Interested in urethane setup and core credit. how do these compare to oems and other aftermarket mounts? Any vibrations at idle? Difference in fitment?

 

Sounds like a good deal. I'd be interested in the mounts with the a core credit. My OEM ones are perfect but I wouldn't mind upgrading for a decent price.

 

There will be some more vibration with this setup, but the Renesis is pretty smooth so the increase is negligible, in my opinion. But of course, YMMV, as increase in NVH is always subjective.

Never tried other aftermarket mounts, so I can't honestly say how these compare, but the improvements over stock with the urethane filled mounts are significant - car feels much more solid and planted, and handling is more immediate.

Fitment with these is perfect, as it retains all the OEM mounting points.

 

Can I get a price on a set shipped to 11421, if you have a set available to fill? I plan on shipping back my OEM as cores to you as well.

I'm very interested if you have sets available. I no longer have OEM motor mounts and am trying to go back to OEM style.

 

can the person who bought the mounts chime in on any excess vibration as i might be interested as i just bought a rx8 and the mounts are sloppy.

Has anyone who installed these mounts notice there is still excessive engine movement when on/off throttle?

I notice the NVH at idle is less than before but i still have movement when on/off the gas which is the main reason for changing the mounts.

 

Whats turna round from when you receive a core set and you send out filled set? A week? 10days? Pm me when you get a chance.
