This radiator is nearly double the thickness of the stock one, the core is 52mm (a little over 2"). I'm not sure if the A/C condenser will still fit on the front of it without a little modification to the A/C hardlines (bending them) but it does have the mounting holes for the A/C condenser on the front. Fitment at this point is unknown, I haven't mounted mine, but all the holes seem to match up perfect. I have installed CSF OEM Replacement radiators in some of my other vehicles before and fitment has always been dead on with those units, I would expect this one to be the same.

This radiator is kind of in between "normal" and "custom". They already had the dimensions from when they were making a radiator for Stillen and I believe they made a handful recently with the latest revision of their 2 row core that are much thicker, but they aren't really available for purchase anywhere at all. They're not even listed on their own website, but a few exist and they have the capability to make more if there is interest.
The biggest features of this radiator are one piece end tanks instead of welded together plates of aluminum, and the core has specially designed "B-Tube" rows that give it more surface area to dissipate heat.

My radiator fit great and dropped cooling temps considerably at temp. The day I replaced it was 100+ out and before replacing it I was seeing crusing temps on the highway of up to 210F. About 2 hours later with the same ambient temps I was down to 190F. That is with no other mods. I went and bought some foam to seal it up. With the foam in a few hours later I was crusing at 182-183F, but the tempature dropped into the upper 90's by that time.
It fit Tight, but It worked. I had to start the bolts on top and tighten them at the same time. The battery tray was a little tight to get back in, but otherwise I had no problems with it at all.

No, i left the Fans and AC condensor in the car and just dropped the radiator out from between them. I had to bend one hard AC line about 1/2".
I left the yellow protector on until I had the radiator in place. Then I had a hard time removing the protectors, but it was not bad. I used PVC pipe cement to glue the foam into place and it is still holding great.

So my buddy and i bought the csf radiator, he installed his a month ago, everything went great. Radiator looks like awesome quality and bolted right up. He is at hallett raceway today its about 90 degrees ambient temp. He texted me saying he stopped because his temps were climbing to 240's and he did not want to over heat. Besides the radiator he has the misimoto thermostat which opens at 169 coolant temps and the remedy water pump. No fan mods. He is doing 15 minutes high speed touring sessions. Anybody have similar issues?

Yes the engine block was drained per FSM, he is using a brand new re-medy water pump, probably a few hundred miles on it now. No coolant leakage. I really don't know why he went with the mishimoto thermostat over the re-medy but the mishimoto was installed at the same time as the csf radiator.
We will be installing the rx8performance fan mod here in the next couple of weeks.

Yep we kept the stock foam and made sure everything is in place! Yes stock undertray is being used.
Do you think it's a possibility the CSF radiator is more of a step back of this application when compared to the stock rad?

I can't talk about track use, but I drive it about as hard as I safely can on the street and the CSF radiator made a noticable difference in cruise my temps.

2 parts reverse osmosis water to 1 part coolant
royal purple equivalent of water wetter
Remedy thermostat
stock water pump
newer stock hoses(2 years old 6K miles)
Custom radiator ducting
Last week temp's in the mid 94-95 I never got over 210. When I let off temps drop right to 180. My temps get up to 208 while idling, but i think that's due to stock fans going out.

No, this radiator is bigger and has the ability to shed more heat than the stock unit. There has to be something else going on. There are guys here at the track with CSF radiators on 500+WHP Subarus and they never have cooling issues even with front mount intercoolers.
