Hey guys, I am selling my fully loaded (minus navigation) 6 speed Rx-8 that I actually bought from this forum about a year ago. I got a very good deal on it and since have spent a lot of money on it! Car is a clean title with 2200 miles on the remanufactured engine put in by Mazda but has damage on both quarter panels where I have a $700 estimate for it. Between fixing this car and buying a house I am hurting on cash. I have offers higher then what I have on here but I am waiting on their cars to sell. I want it sold!
Here is what I have done since I've purchased it
-Engine and Catalytic Converter replaced by Mazda in January 2012 at 77,500 miles.
-New Spark plugs & wires, ignition coils, air filter, and transmission fluid (Redline).
-Had a faulty secondary valve because of a bad sensor, sensor has been replaced and upper and lower intake valves have been seafoamed.
-Small coolant leak fixed
-Front left wheel hub and bearing replaced
-New mazda appearance package front lip with new engine undercover
Here are some other goody's on the car:
-Full bodykit (I believe side skirt/rear bumper are authentic Mazdaspeed)
-Carbon Fiberish Fenders, b pillars, and shift ***
-Enkei FN18" 7.5 F et+4mm , 9.5 R et+17 (spacers)
-Lowered 2in on Sprint Springs (I'll include stock springs)
-Factory bose sound system with added amp and sub
The bads:
-Both rear quarter panels are damaged (pics attached). Small dent in drive side rear door as well. Have a $700 estimate for everything, but that would be the absolute lowest you could get. Mazdaspeed side skirts are in good shape but paint is wearing near the back of both of them.
-Transmission isn't perfect. Was pretty bad when I got it but with the Transmission fluid change and replacing the rubber under the shift boot it is a whole lot better (rubber was ripped and that blocks transmission sound). Only issues I now have is shifting near redline from 1st to 2nd where I have a grind once every 3-4 times. No issues at lower rpms
My Twitter has up close pictures of the body damage
