I have an alternator from when I had my 05 RX8. I purchased it from Mazmart July 09 and it has sat in the box in my garage for the last year. I was cleaning out my garage when I stumbled on it.

It has not been installed on any vehicle since purchase. When I purchased it I was told it was off a car w/ 16K miles on it.

I know it will work on a series one but I am not sure on series 2 as I have not been under the hood working on one of those yet.

Price is $125.00 shipped in the lower 48. This is cheaper than I paid for it. My paypal is rotaryinspired@yahoo.com.

how long to this things last?

 

How long do alternators last??? Generally quite some time depending upon the load on them, ie large stereos and so forth.

 

If you have this then I will take it!

 

Bump for good price, I have been through two alternators in 119,000 miles. They are not cheap and can't be rebuilt reliably (ask me how I know).
