FS: 2004 OEM RX-8 Wheels
SOLD - pending shipment
Hey Everyone,
I was going to put my 8's oem rims on my gf's mazda 3, but I don't want to deal with lowering it or paying more for 18 inch tires, so I've decided to stick with 17's for her car (it's our dd anyway).
First, LOCAL* buyers always get dibs. I hate dealing with shipping, and I don't much care for paypal, so I'd hold out for cash and local buyers.
Ok, so:
4 2004 RX-8 OEM Wheels for sale, 18x8 +50 or whatever
About 55k on them
No major damage
There is decent curb rash, nothing on the spokes, just on the lips, one 2 of the wheels. I'm not gonna lie, these are by no means in perfect condition (as my asking price reflects!). But they are solid, no bends, no cracks.
No lugs, had to use them for other wheels
No tpms (transferred these to my new wheels)
$250 for all four wheels (pick-up). IF I ship, buyer would pay actual shipping costs.
$75 for each wheel if I part them out
Let me know if you have any questions.
Update: I just got the tires dismounted and cleaned the wheels! See post below for (dirty) close-ups, but added pic below of cleaned wheels!
* Local = Austin, Austin area. Willing to deal with Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio if we can work it out and meet somewhere.
Pics of my car before I took the wheels off are below, just to prove they're real

actually, after unwrapping them and seeing them for the first time in months, i'm not sure i can sell them! ahh! they're dirty as hell and 2 wheels are scuffed pretty bad on the lip, so i think they're worth more to ME then i can sell them for. 200-250 seems like all i can get given their condition, but new tires for these wheels or new 17"s for my other tires will run me 400-700 either way, so i'm not sure if it's worth me selling them.
I really don't want to be a ******** seller, so i'll post pics anyway, but i guess this is more of a "feeler" thread...
pics below show:
-all 4 wheels
-individual pics of each wheel (2 are scuffed pretty bad (2nd and 4th pictures below), 2 are much better...all 4 are dirty as hell!!)
remember, tires are shot and will need to be taken off.

yeah, gonna trade it...trying to get it all stock. rims are the only thing i need. i got some time before i do that, it all depends on finding the right car to trade for.

why are you trading it? end of lease or just ready for something new? you had it looking pretty badass, just curious. i'm sure you saw, but there are one or two other oem wheel threads in the 'gulf' section.

Being in Iowa, the winters suck for driving a rear wheel drive car. So I need something I can haul my 2 small kids around in that will be dependable. I'm looking into buying an 04-07 STI. I work with a bunch of dealers that will hook me up on a good trade in price for the 8. They can locate an sti at a car auction for me at an almost wholesale price. They need to make a little money off me, lol.

No worries on the wheels if you don't want to sell them; like you said there are others for sale.
I'm trading because I need something I can drive all year. Being in Iowa, the winters suck for driving a rear wheel drive car. So I need something I can haul my 2 small kids around in that will be dependable. I'm looking into buying an 04-07 STI. I work with a bunch of dealers that will hook me up on a good trade in price for the 8. They can locate an sti at a car auction for me at an almost wholesale price. They need to make a little money off me, lol.
