...REV8 and midpipe sold...

I am selling my custom built, light-weight, stainless, single outlet exhaust to go with a REV8 Racing beat system.



The single outlet exhaust was modeled after the racing beat single outlet design, but is about half the weight of that unit.

$300 for the race exhaust

The single outlet exhaust is ONLY guaranteed to fit with the REV8 catback. It might fit other systems.

I have been running the single outlet exhaust with a turbo and a catless midpipe and love the sound. Reasonably quiet at idle and wakes up above 4000rpm. NA with a cat should be ok, but NA with a midpipe is not recommended.

Some of these parts are still on my car, but will be removed within a week or two.

Local pickup is preferred, but if you want to pay for shipping I will willingly pack and ship.

Just to let everyone know why I am letting this go, I picked up my TurboXS exhaust yesterday. It is 3" downpipe to tips where the Racing Beat exhaust has a neck down. Not serious, but I want 3" straight through.

If you want shipping, you pay for total cost of shipping including any packaging that I have to do. I will send you receipts.

Again Local to the DC area can pick up.

I am practically giving this away. I want someone to enjoy them as much as I did.

I am godlike, but I think you have the wrong guy.

I have some interest in parting out, but I would really like to see this go to someone as a package. I think it is quite a deal. I will put you at the top of the list for the midpipe alone.

how does the magnaflow sound? is it very loud?

 

Depends. If you are NA and you want to run a midpipe with the magnaflow, it will be too loud.

However, with a turbo in the way, it sounds great! I get complements on the sound. I would expect that a cat in the way would have a similar effect, but I haven't tried that.

 

What does this do differently over stock exhaust?

Myardor, it replaces the increadibly heavy double cannister on the REV8. Would be ideal for autox use. Easy to mount, pointed down to reduce noise.
