I think the best way to trade would be to drive and meet at some state in between. You get one last ride with your old gal, and then a great introduction to the new one.

If i would trade for any car, this would be it. Love that color

I'm just curious on why the sunroof in the 8 makes a difference when you have an FD. I have to origami my way into an FD, but have no problems in an 8, with or without sunroof.

I do have to work my way into the fd, and I've also had the seat modified so that it is lower, so that I can fit with the sunroof. My last memory of an 8 was that I just fit with the sun roof. But I guess I will have to go find one near me and take it for a drive, to see if I have compacted my spine anymore since I last drove one.

I think driving out to meet someone would be very cool, one last hooray.

My 8 is not the right color and not the right year.
Also look like your 7 worth more than my 8 too, which I have no $ for that.

Your car looks awesome, hope someone will take it soon. ^^
Unless I will start begging you for an unfair tread.

Just curious, what are the specs on your 8?

04 6-speed MT Sunlight Silver, 37,8xx miles, base stereo with MP3 upgrate.
Front replica Mazdaspeed (fitment is ok, not perfect) with OEM Euro spec fog light.
It is 04 so no traction control.

The thing you might like is no sunroof. I have after market 8,000K HID with all led lighting in/exteria installed. And paint still look great.

Hope you find a better choice.

I figured I'd want the TC/DSC, but how is it for you around here with out? I've driven the 7 through a crazy rain storm up to ssf for work, and managed to keep it on the road.

No DSC : no problem (with good tires, stock tires suck!). I even drove it to lake Tahoe in the snow with snow chain on only when it is required. (Maybe I was lucky.)

But if you have one, surelly better. You can turn DSC off when ever you want.

Bump from beyond the grave.

Seeing how much interest there is in trading a 94 rx7 for a rx8. The FD is in the same general condition as it was above, I am almost to 60,000 miles now. I've had the spark plugs and wires recent replaced, I've done Adam C's intake mod from RX7 club, and I am having the EGR valve replaced right now. Let me know if you are interested.

Most owners do it. The cat in the downpipe was there for cold start emissions, since they do not test for that it does not really show up. Making sure the car has good plug has more of an effect than the downpipe.

Yeah there is a main cat too. If you take that out you are asking for trouble!

I don't think my wife would let me, but how about a 2005 Black, GT. Traction control, new tires, moon roof, HDI headlights, leather, electric seats.

Sounds good except the black, sorry. But your wife would love you forever if you got a FD!

I don't have much seat lean when I drive, I sit very much up right, and the ceiling can get a little close.

If you're local and are thinking about the trade, I would sit in a GT to see how I fit these days.

just out of curiosity, would you SELL your 7? what does a near-mint condition go for? again, just curious b/c i love that car so much. i'm still paying on my 8 or i'd take it from you...

It should go from between 14-16k depending on how much of a rush I am in, I am not in a rush.

I would want both too, but you can't always get what you want.

haha at this rate I'm sure it will still be for sale. But maybe I will be able to afford a daily driver by then.
