They're a little more expensive than that. Why do you need one? If it's just to put on for emissions them remove afterwards some have had success with aftermarket cats to use a week or so out of the year.

Usually $200-250 shipped will buy them.

Unfortunately the last 2-3 times I've tried to buy, the seller has either become unresponsive, or has sold it out from under me while negotiating the deal. A lot of people are not motivated/brave enough to package and ship them, either.

^ easy dick patrol guys....

i said "PROB" because i didn't look into cost of shipping but how can hauling around a heavy and large item cost so little? most small packages i send cost 20-30. I think offering 100 bux for this item is the dick move really...

nobody has to take my offer but i don't see selling a cat that cheap worth it....just my opinion....

I'll sell mine for $400 + actual shipping, no problem.

Pulled from an 04 about 4 years ago. No more than 25,000 miles on it.

Fwiw, I don't have a problem with any of it.
I think supply and demand sets the price.
If you think it's worth $1k, then ask it.
If someone else thinks it's not worth it, don't buy it.
If it's something scarce the price goes up, and as 8s keep getting parted out, and cats keep getting ruined, I expect the prices to rise.
Simple.

listen if you use fed-ex or ups and you're east coast it wouldn't cost more than $25. from west coast maybe $40-$50 yes. if you take it to a pack n ship store yes they will rape you...lots of people don't realize when you go into a place that isn't an actual fed-ex or UPS outlet they are a separate business and make money just on sending your shipment to the UPS or Fed-Ex guy. The cheapest way to ship is actually schedule a pickup you just call Fed-Ex, print the label online and it costs $3 for a pickup and you pay the base rate. NEVER TAKE YOUR ITEMS TO A PACK N SHIP STORE OR ANY PLACE LIKE STAPLES JUST A HEADS UP!! I will pay $165 shipped for a stock/oem cat now. Most people have no use for them I've seen a couple go for $50 or $100 plus shipping. If you don't want to sell it i'm not forcing you to.
