Since I'm getting this question a lot......

This is not gold painted. Since the AEM intake is aluminum, I had it anodized. It's a Type III anodizing process with a clear as well.

pics? I'm interested in the intake, but I'd like to see "how" gold it is. I have rose gold wheels, and was considering having the upper intake manifold vacuum metalized goldish.

Yes they are carb legal, what I meant is that aem doesn't provide the carb sticker though.. Or atleast last time I checked they didn't.
