This car is a mostly finished project, I've done most of the mechanical stuff and was just starting to move on to cosmetic issues.
The car is registered and inspected, asking $5500 but I'm willing to be flexible, located in Scranton PA, the car will need to be trailered due to coolant leak.
The car is relatively clean with no major rust, wear as expected of a 98,000-mile car.
I do also have a new stock wing in primer plus color-matched paint that I'm willing to throw in.
The major work that was done on the car was a brand new crate motor from Mazda, along with mods and repairs that I have listed in full below.
I've also included an exhaustive list of everything that I know is wrong with the car.
I think I've covered everything, but if anyone has any questions please ask!

Mods/work done

• New Mazda remanufactured engine put in about 1000mi ago
  • New ancillaries: Water pump, Oil Pump, and Flywheel.
• New gaskets and belts all around.
• All fluids replaced: engine oil and coolant, transmission oil, dif oil, brake fluid, and clutch fluid.
• Sohn adapter and firewall tanks for oil and wiper fluid.
• New BHR coils and plug wires.
• New BHR mid-pipe w/ cat
• New Racing Beat Catback
• New front and rear O2 sensors
• New Excedy sport clutch (and new pilot/thrust bearings)
• New starter motor
• New front and rear brakes (rotors, pads, caliper rebuild)
• New front wheel bearings
• New LRB aluminum undertray
• New front splitter and foglights (these were missing when I got the car)
• New aluminum coolant overflow tank (this is one w/o the coolant level sensor, needed a replacement after the old one cracked)
• New double din head unit installed (Sony XAV AX1000) (I do have the stock radio as well)

Known Issues

• The radiator will need to be replaced, the previous owner had epoxied it after it cracked.
• Coolant leak, unsure of the source but the car cannot be driven.
• One of the radiator fans is dead and will need to be replaced.
• All of the firewall insulation is missing.
• The top lip on the firewall is slightly bent, causing the cowl to be misaligned.
• Missing tow hook cover and wiper bolt cover.
• Cosmetically the car has a few issues:
  • The DS door has a dent and the lock cover is the wrong color
  • small dent on DS fender
  • It looks like the rear bumper has been poorly resprayed
  • The paint on the mirrors is pretty bad
  • In general, the paint needs work
• The passenger dash panel is cracked.
• The rearview mirror is damaged. (backing is starting to separate)
• The passenger door speaker is non-functional.
• Taillights have been swapped with S2 versions (eBay special) I consider this an issue but you might not.
• Wheels are not stock and do slightly rub at full lock.
  • I do have the stock wheels, however, they are badly curbed

Was this car over heated at any point?

Might be a stupid question, just seems like lots of mostly new parts, new engine, and then for whatever reason, it's being quickly sold at a loss before being finished. I do understand that priorities change and life happens, though.

 

No it hasn't been overheated, I'm selling because I had to move across the country and couldn't take it with me.
