Calling All Brilliant Blacks

Been awhile (couple of years) since my car has seen daylight Needs a fresh battery and wash. Need to fix a couple of minor issues before it can be registered but hopefully will have it back on the road soon.

My 04 GT - 43k miles - Excellent Condition
Unfortunately I will be passing it on to my son next year when he enters college. This was a promise I made when he was 12, that he never let me forget. I have another year to drive, drive, drive!!!

RX8 Series 2 Review & Road Test Video
Hi all,
Long time lurker on these forums, finally I have something to post about.
I just uploaded my first video to YouTube featuring my Series 2 RX8. My RX8 is pretty much stock other than a BHR ignition system but she is still a great drive and I am pretty OCD when it comes to keeping her looking sharp
I have gone with the detailed review format, so lots of discussion of spec interspersed with segments of driving and GoPro external shots. I have to say it was a lot of work producing the video, it required crazy amount of editing in post and getting comfortable with Adobe Premiere takes time. Still I have learned a lot and am looking forward to producing more videos featuring new cars and hopefully some exoticars.
Let me know what you think.

The bumper has seen better days, had to chop the **** out of it to fit the ic and it still doesn’t fit right where the indicators are. Being held on with zip ties and gorilla tape for now lol. So ya it’s a 50 ft car.🤓

Just acquired a non-running 2007 Brilliant Black GT, with red leather interior. Car is a little rough but nothing I can't save. First order of business is to get it running again and bring all maintenance up to date, then I can start improving upon the interior and exterior condition. I'll create a proper thread once I can really dig into working on it.
At the dealer, the day I bought it.
At home the next day, still frosty from the day before before.
Interior, not too bad mostly just dirty. The driver seat and steering wheel are rough.

Lovely! This is exactly what I'm going after with my car. I like the MS rear wing a lot more than I thought I would; goes brilliantly with the appearance package. I like the stock wheels a lot; I'm torn between refinishing them or just getting a set of RPF-1's.

I do like the stock wheels but they still look a lil stock. I would like them to poke a lil more but I'm not a fan of spacers.. I too am at a loss on replacing or refinishing.

Hey dudes. Been into RX7s for a while and had a good deal of an RX8 fall into my lap. Just got her so shes still stock. For now.
Heres my Brilliant black 04 GT. Every rotary iv ever owned from my 89 GTUs to my turbo swapped vert has been brilliant black. So she fits in quite well
Only mods done so far is I threw my PBM **** in from my drift car. The stock one is trashed so this will do for now. Dunno what I want to replace it with yet. OEM is the way to go but in this case I'm not a fan of the RX8 shift ****. I decide once I have the money to spend.
