Up for sale is a used power steering ecu I bought from another member here (Phantom RX) off an 04, pretty much I found out that this wasnt the problem, so I'm just selling it for what I got it for

Did replacing the power steering wires fix your problem?

 

someone told me it was the "motor" not sure where to look for that and as for the wires i checked them and they were pretty caked up with dirt, i've yet to clean them when i have the time to i'll hop on it

 

I'd say 90% of the people with steering issues have it resolved by changing them for an updated wire set from Mazda. Costs around 90 from the dealer.

 

we are talking about the 2 plugs located under the air intake box right? they look like they havent been touched i should replace those?

 

I replaced that harness around two weeks ago. Problem solved!

wait a minute, whats youre issue? cause just recently my abs/traction ligt came on, and wont go away.. the dealer asked me 4k to replace the engine harness, but i think it could be as simple as a clean up...idk can you guys send me a Pm about how you fixed this..

 

for me at least the sensor is missing so i need a whole new or used rack and pinion

from what the others say all they had to do was replace the wiring harness from the power steering if cleaning wasnt enough
