I'm making the trip to central FL in early august for 2 weeks. I wanted to get a solid meet organized. Not just any meet, a meet by the water with some lovely models. So far 9, yes, NINE, lovely ladies will be there. They are looking to build up their portfolios and im sure we can assist. There are also a few photographers who want to come by as well.

The only cost is for food/drink and parking. So bring a bunch of quarters and a cooler.

I'm driving over 1000mi to FL from PA, and your complaining about ~3-4 hour drive?

Well ask yourself this question, do you want to drive to an rx8 meet where models will be in attendance...and it is a meet...and its by the beach...and your not paying out the nose for a photoshoot?

 

Dont forget, once we get enough people we'll have to designate which side we want the meet to be held on.

its very hard for me to drive 5 hours in the 8, since there is not to many e85 pumps out there.

 

Honestly man Im up for a road trip, down to FL to visit Pettit too, work has been really stressful and I need to get out of there to keep my insanity.... I'll keep ya updated

 

I just found a guy interested in taking some videography and photography for the event. He's a blogger/videographer/publisher/reporter for extremeautonews.com. He knows of more people too who are dying to get some sick pictures of some smiling beauties (the cars, I mean haha)

A writer for Net More Deals is also interested, he owns a national show car (Subaru WRX, rally arted to ****) and he's also interested in getting good videos/pictures.

I will keep l337fpc updated with the lists, because they seem to be growing more and more by the hour. This would be a great opportunity for you all to come out, I'm hoping to get some great professional people to get your cars seen! Models keep coming saying they are interested, and photographers are messaging me on facebook/model mayhem/gmail like you wouldn't believe! This is all for you guys! I hope this will be a decent turn-out! They all want to meet YOU guys ^_^

Well greg im leaving from MD on 8/1 and heading right down to florida. Its about a hair over 1000 mi. I've been getting over 325mi on highway trips, so about 4 fill ups isn't that bad at all.

 

I might just head down myself or with Moon, Ill let ya know, but if Im goin down I might as well plan it around this and meet up with you guys and gals

if enough people want to go from here down south, and we can all find a place to stay at for a group discount possibly, then theres chance i might be able to get in on this action.

There is still plenty of time to organize something like that. But. The quicker the better because hotel prices aren't going to go down in price as the days go by.

All im saying is that this photoshoot should be sick and the total number of models is 10 now and it seems to be rising. I want at least a car per model.

...and i dont mind the ratio of models per car going above one our cars do have seating for four lmao
