This sounds like a pretty cool meet. I'm new to the club here. Just bought an '08 few weeks ago. Count me in as maybe I'll let you know as soon as I find out from work, but its a definite possibility i'll be there.

I've got one more spot to fill for cars in the shoots.
Well, There should be a few coming over from Orlando. I have to check wiith them again to see who's coming over.
I want to get a solid list of cars that will be there. There are a **** ton of models and photographers that will be there. I want to get all of this organized so everyone gets their car seen by various photographers and have a few models posing on each car.

i never said it was gonna be bad (i will be one of the photographers/video guys)
anyways, you guys need to start setting up some rules as to the photography session.
need to instruct people in regards to how they behave, respecting the models, not being all over the place.
also, that by showing up they give up their right to not be on video/pictures.
etc...

i think u had mentioned this before in regards to how many cars are showing up.
was there ever a decision on how many cars will be allowed to be photographed?
also, how many photographers are showing up?
i for one, don't care..i am filming the shoot, so i expect photographers everywhere, but if i shooting, i woudn't want to do it next to more than 2 guys....very unconfortable to try to get good angles and change poses since you need to wait for other 20 photographers to finish their shoot.
this will lead to fights and arguments.
perhaps this needs to be taken into consideration as you may not want to end up in youtube on a shooting fight ( )

oh, and the models...are the professionals? or are they someone's sister's?
this is crucial since posing is not for everyone, even if you have a hot body, you can still look pretty bad if you don't know what you are doing.
in a bigger picture, the idea of shooting hot chicks next to hot cars sounds very appealing...but the reality is, it could end up being a photographer's worst nightmare.

As far as the models go, my girl will have to comment on them since i don't know them personally.

My biggest issue is figuring out if all these cars are actually showing up. I can count on my girls and my photographers, but l337fpc needs to round up the guys coming from PA and NY and elsewhere for our caravan because hotels aren't getting any cheaper and although the interior of an RX-8 may be nice, I dont see it being comfortable to sleep in for a few days.
If all my girls and photographers show up and the car-to-girl ratio is too small, there will NOT be a happy Stephanie on that day, I can promise you.
I see this being a bigger problem for photogs, rather than the guys who own the cars, but we will work around it and I can assure you this will be a fun and interesting experience.

sorry, in no way was i being pessimistic or argumentative.
just things to keep in mind.
working with a model that know what works is the best but also i've seen amateurs doing great things.
it all depends on the model and what works for her or doesn't.

The only way this will lead to fights and arguments is if someone is unprofessional, and I take pride in knowing I did not invite ANYONE who is unprofessional. This is a no drama event and everyone is aware of who will be there for this exact reason.
Alece, Raquel, Sarah, Katie, Lo and I are models. Megan, Alexis, Brittany, and Jessica have agreed to be MODELS, they are aware of this, and they have no modeling experience. The photographer is going to have to pose the girls once in a while, as there will more than likely be more than one on or in a car at a time for group shots. The four who have agreed to be models understand that they have to take direction, and will if asked. This is not a professional event, mind you, its a car meet that my boyfriend (l337fpc) and I decided to make larger and more interesting with the add in on models and photographers. We're trying it out to see how well it works, and if we can do it in the future (next summer, or up in PA).
