Yeah, well it also doesn't make sence that the temp reading switches sides either. It really doesn't bother me tho, since my new radio display is red and matches the factory one perfectly. You could always just put a strip of black tape up there if you wanted. I thought about doing that in the middle section but figured it would look off balance so I just left it alone.

Guys I could use some help. I managed to get the install all done, except now the radio is always on "ATT" which is the semi-mute. Everything else is working fine, GPS, brake bypass, etc. I can play dvds but since the "ATT" mode is on, I have no control over the volume. Thoughts?

Figured it out, when i did the bypass i had to take out the mute wire, move it over one pin, and ground it. Looks like i didn't move it over fully and the pin was shorting out against the mute pin.

Everything looks good, I will get some pics tomorrow. Only thing that didn't work out is the steering wheel controls with that module

FYI here is a fun fact ... my clock still works in the LCD. Lol... i didn't DC the battery when I was working so the time is currently showing the right stuff, but I wonder what is going to happen in the future.

Making some progress with the steering controls, the only thing is, i follow the list in order on how to manually program (auto program picks up the wrong stereo brand), but the controls are all mixed up (vol up - seek up, vol down - vol down, seek up - mode, etc ). Gotta look for some FAQs

FYI just got my steering wheel controls working . Used the metra axxess the first few times, and it really wasn't working all too well. I then did some research and found that the steering controls are all variable resistance based through a single input wire against a reference so you really want to make sure you have a solid ground. Today I really spent some time working on the wiring and finally got it working through autodetect.

LOL yes I sure can, but only huge record breaking orgy sessions in dead stop traffic with the windows down...

The pioneers usually disable viewing with the parking brake down but as long as you do the bypass you can watch anytime

Not sure yet to be honest. I really wanted the screen just to get some navigation. Any recommendations?

did they mess up the black plastic that around the gloss trim too?
I once asked the dealer to fix my radio squeak, they took a chunk off it too.
