Good spot to tap in led wires

I am trying to find a good spot to tap in for power to power an interior led kit. I don't really want to go in by the little fusebox because I cannot fit under there, I already tried for two hours under there and had no luck. I would like the new lights to go on when the dome lights turn on, but using a switch and an always on source would work too. Any suggestions as to a good spot?

thanks

suck it up and go in behind the fuse box. other than that you could try to run them through your headliner, but i would not suggest that.

If you want to link them to the interior lights you'll have to get at the wires by the fuse box. If you're putting on a switch (pain in the butt to get those switch panels off btw) you could probably tap the cigarette lighter and run the wires under the side of the dash. Its easy to get at and convenient for running wire down both sides.

I assume you're putting in foot well lights?
