Is there a Doral, FL meet? If not we should start up one.

Maybe the Hooters on 87th? or the Fudruckers on 107?

Let me know if anyone is interested or if anyone knows of a meet going on nearby thanks.

yes i tried to start a meet on miami 72nd and collins ave and nothing!!!!!

 

no one ever shows, maybe you get luckly and 1 or 2 people show up but good luck getting more than that.

 

It's true what Gotian said, however I'm sure if there were more promotion that we could possibility get more people to come.

 

damn, well i have friends that don't have rx8's but i know a few of them will come.

maybe we might try something open to all cars instead of just rx8's even though i see them everywhere in Doral.

A bunch of friends get together to watch the F1 races on sunday mornings @ Capriccio Cafe - Panini in Doral, at the shopping plaza on 41st St and 97th Ave. (between the Univision TV station, McDonald's & Blockbuster)

Most friends are Ferrari fans, but there are some going for McLaren, BMW, Brown GP, etc.
No cover, just order some panini and Segafredo coffee for breakfast so the it's worth opening for the owner, and enjoy!

Small place but nice spot to ocassionally check a couple Ferraris, maybe an STi, and soon a RX8 (only on F1-race watch days though)

Oh, and the capuccino is amazing!
Ask for Mauro, the manager.

Well maybe I'll stop by the follwing weekend when you're there. I'm going for button, brown gp is destroying everyone. The next round is in 2 weeks isn't it?

 

Yep, next one is Sunday the 24th from Monaco; should be a fun start, some crashing but not much passing after that anyway.
I also like Brown GP, what a break for Button after so many weren't betting a dime for his F1 future! That Ross Brown is quite the fox.

 

Ok. First off, if meets are trying to be set up and no one shows up, its probably because most of you lack the... courage to show up. Like that p**y up there, Sebarrx8. Back in November we had an awesome, a most successful, meet in Markham Park. NINE of us showed, and some were still missing (ahem....SEBARrx8) So...to Mr. Sebar rx8: DON'T SAY YOU'VE BEEN TRYING TO MEET, BECAUSE YOU DON'T EVEN SHOW UP.

By the way, that meet place that sebar wants to utilize is a small argentinian cafe place with extremely limited parking around...Not a good idea, my friend.

NOW, for those who are serious about this and want to do this for real, like FERG, ANGELJOELV, DARKLORD7854, SSSUPERMAN82, JANKYGB, BLACKWOLF, MAGIKONE69, AND myself JIMTOR(obviously), these are the people to contact to make an RX8 meeting. Let's make it happen again you guys!!!

 

You should try coming to the BBQ Summer event if you're not already. I'm sure there we can get a few other RX8 members and maybe plan an event later in the summer.

I have eaten there several times for lunch and the food is great. Sandwiches soup's yum! Good flat screen TV's. It is indeed Ferrari country.

Well, well, well, someone is overheating! It is such a pity that you take everything in life so personally. No one meant a personal attack at you, so you can scratch the silly ideas in your head about being with your girls or ex girls, or your girl's cousin. A little tip for you my friend, continue to be such a cry baby and you will not only be unsuccessful in this club, but also in your entire life.


COMMUNICATION. If you say you will go to a meet, then cannot for WHATEVER REASON, at least have the decency to communicate it to the rest of the members, like some others were capable of doing that meeting day. No body is angry at you or hates you or is attacking you personally; take it easy. I was just pointing out that if ALL RX8 members want to meet successfully, they should be able to cooperate as best as possible and communicate if otherwise. I'm sorry you missed my point.

Oh, and about the problems: Profanity is actually evidence of a lack of knowledge of mature and efficient language. The only one looking for problems here is you, bub, by writing that message. If I were you, I'd be embarrased! Enjoy your life, don't be so exagerrated...and don't be such a cry baby.
