thanks for the complements

Thanks for the info! I'm pretty close to pulling the trigger and buying these wheels. Any rubbing issues? Any "I wish I had done it a little different" complaints?

Thanks again,

Can you please post some pics? I'm trying to decide between these and 9.5s with 45 offset.

no complaints. i do rub a tiny bit in the rear on extremely extreme bumps but this is very rare. i love the wheels actually one complaint is that im a lazy *** so im not fond of washing these. i think they should be self cleaning haha.

O yea, The inner surface of the axle end needed some sanding and primering though, along with the the ends of the studs.

Im still up on the roof if I like the looks or not, one thing that is for sure is the increase in responsiveness of the car.

RPF1 TypeRC

Does anyone out there have the RPF1 TypeRC installed? They are a bit heavier than the RPF1, but still reasonable at 22.7 lbs for an 18x9.5 +45.

I would also love to see what the RP03 TypeRC's look like, which are also available in a18x9.5 +45 at 22.5 lbs.

If anyone has any pics, I'd love to see some. Or, if anyone has seen the RPF1 TypeRC in person, can you tell me if it has a polished lip?

Thanks,

DT

I waited for over a year for those and gave up, and purchased the silver ones. I might still buy them and sell my mine...

Question to RPF1 owners. Is there a difference in the look of the 18x8 vs the 18x9.5? I have 3 sets of 225/45/18 tires and really don't want to spend the money to buy new tires to fit the 9.5.

Is the 9.5 staggered a bit more?

as long as the 18x8 look like these 9.5's mounted. I'm good

i can only imagine it looking like riding on rubber bands... i don't think 225 will stretch on a rim almost 2" wider with such a short sidewall as it is...

better to sell a set of 225's

Yes any RPF1

THINNER THAN 8" WILL NOT BE CONCAVE.

To HAVE CONCAVE MUST BE WIDER than 9".

I have mounted both RPF1-RC and RP03-RC to the 8.

WOW. Both sets of wheels look unbelievable. I gave up on waiting for someone to post these pics and just purchased a second set of RPF1's instead.

Those RPF1 TypeRC's may be the most beutiful wheels I've ever seen. Ever.
