Guys what a awsome turn out! The roads were more busy than normal because of summer but theres nothing like 15+ 8's driving in a line. I'll be starting on the video tonight.

 

Can't wait to see the video. And I agree, today was an awesome cruz. I just hope this wasn't the last one!

Great turnout. I think having the San Bernardino guys show up was cool...and to see Fanman again was great. Thanks for coming out all. I'll put some pics up here, as well as the "Last Malibu" thread.....to make those Nor cal boys jeolous

 

It was nice meeting you all. We had a great turn out, better than what I espected too. Now we local guys should try to make the effort to go to the SB meet one time atleast. But the view here is much better . Hey Alex I had to send you a link to something and I don't remembr to what, do you? Now where are those pics?

 

GREAT meet everyone! Couldn't have asked for better weather, better road conditions, or better company Too bad Jorge was home applying Zaino instead of cruising with us... Hahahaha. (j/k of course). And, I think Ceasar might want to consider moonlighting as a RX-8 salesman, as I think that motorcycle dude is probably hitting his local Mazda dealer on his ride home... LOL

And, let the pictures begin! (I have a BOATLOAD, so this is going to take at least 10, 15 mins.)

 

10:00AM roll call at the Mobile station off the Las Virginas Road exit off the 101N. The gas station attendant came out twice to ask us to clear the entrance to their car wash... "Ok, ok, we're moving- don't have a COW man!"

The weather was beautiful, as was the canyon view. At our first stop of the day we ran into a BMW Mini Cooper car club. But, they left before any of us could get some pictures of them. Well, we needed their parking spaces anyways. <LOL>

 

Our 1st stop of the day...

Cesar shares his enthusiam over a newly installed exhaust & audio amplifier (in the trunk). And, Casey reciprocates with a re-installed car stereo. (Both of them have yellow 8's.)

Keith ponders whether Jorge is at home applying more coats of Zaino. And, Fanman shares some turbo knowledge with Alex & his Dad.

Oh, and that's Rick flashing the peace sign from his white 8.

We pass by the roadside restaurant that all the bikers like to stop off at. (Not as many of them out there today compared to usual.) Another beautiful view of the canyon. Erica shows that she has no problem driving in high heels & keeping up with the guys in her Snowflake 8 (sideview mirror picture). And, there's Loren rounding out the precession with the headlights on in his red 8.

 

2nd stop of the day...

Outta nowhere, this older guy pulls up in the coolest looking Mini Cooper. (Wonder if he got separated from the other car club?) Anyways, our group is suddenly fixated on his car. And, he was nice enough to show & tell...

And then there was... FOOD!

Well, 20 minutes to order and then another 20 at the pickup window, to be exact. Neptunes Net is also now charging $3 to self-park in their lot. Not too bad though, if you don't want your car window bumped by a passing surfboard or parked in front of/ behind of a gorgeous 4-door Toyota Prius on PCH...

After lunch, Jun wanted to show us a scenic alcove off PCH for some photos. Besides a nice ocean view, there were also some really cool rock formations as well. (Seagulls usually know where the cool people like to hang out... kekeke.)
