Thanks for coming out!
Guys:
I wanted to thank all of the 30 or so RX-8 owners who made SS-6. It was great to see the latest member of the Rotary family represented at the event. I hope all enjoyed and had a good time!
BTW, we are looking for a huge RX-8 presence next year!

Enjoyed the show. Came back on Sunday around 1pm to find everything empty guess I didnt read the times or anything along with about 8 other people driving around asking where sevenstock was at. :P
Saturday I walked around for hours. I didnt bring my rx-8 on the lot since i haven't had anything done with it special but really enjoyed checking out all the other cars especially the finely tuned rx-7's :P

I hope to be threr next year...........now that I own an RX-8!
Yipee! I bought it today to beat the California registration increase on October 1. I was waiting for my wife to get a job, and on Monday she got the verbal offer..and I was off to the dealer!
Took a bit to find the color and package we decided on:
Silver with the red/black interior. I got it with 4 miles in it.
I think there will be a "fix" for the horsepower issue, even if it takes reflashing the ECU or swapping with a Japanese spec.

7Stock Highlights
o Talking to Mazda engineers about my A/C switch going off prematurely (he acknowledged the problem), but he didn't know about the Throttle Sensor Recall that was printed on my computer printout when I took my car in to have the A/C looked at. He gave me a number at Mazda HQ to call.
o The Acosta 3 rotor, awesome!
o The prototype RX-8s
o My 13yo dug all the drift RX-7s (especially the one with the dented rear end, proof the guy was as real drifter!)
o The other competition examples
o Uncapped rotaries getting "burped" (can't wait to hear what a well piped Renesis sounds like at 9k+!)

Yeah it was pretty good.
Got to see some regulars and meet some new people.
I gave away over $700 in parts although I forgot another $200 of in the car, OOPS!
Next year I have a feeling will be better. I didnt even bring but one pair of Clear winkers, since I didnt have much room in my bags.
