if you park your car in the Main lot (event) then you are not allowed to leave until 3:00
There is general parking you can use that allows you to leave any time you like.
you should come down to SS, you'll NEVER see a larger gathering of rotary cars anywhere in the world.

1. Bring folding chairs like the kind you would take to a soccer game
2. Bring Sunblock
3. There will be donuts and drinks for us in the morning VIA all the 8 owners pitching in
4. We get there around 7 a.m. (the caravan) and around 9 i believe they start letting us to the main lot....
5. All the rotaries will take up much of your time. Different set-ups in audio, visual, performance, wheels, etc.... not only 8's, but 7's (FD, FC, FB), and older rotaries and also the race cars..
6. Its fun to chit- chat with memebers on here....
7. It is very possible to caravan back with the NORCAL...
8. Yes you can get there at a later time but you will have to park in the parking lot and not the "main show lot" like our 8's will be....

got it. i will try to come. so for show lot what time should i come? 7? or earlier? reason i ask is because some people throughout the thread say they are going to get there early to get good spots. i say try as depends on my fiance as we are mainly going to LA for her to get a boob job on friday lol so depends on how she feels saturday. but more likely i will come. i will already be down there anyway and would be a waste to not go. thanks for all the answers zumn 8 ill see you there =)

you rang?

zumn is pretty dead on with his answers.
There's definitely lots to do at SS. IN the past, there have been Tech Seminars done by experts in our Rotary Community on various topics
There will be a secion for the Vendors to show off their newest creations and you'll get a chance to talk to them about their products, what they're coming out with, or even just to drool over the cars in their booths.
We'll have everyone from Racing Beat to BHR to probably Mazdatrix at this year's SS.

There is also a giant raffle at the end of the show. I've seen everything from brake pads to full sets of tires raffled off.

definitely lots to do at SS.
J Owens: you can sleep in a little since the show doesn't officially open up till 9 am. those of us getting there early do it to ensure great spots in the main lot. (then we're stuck there till 3 or 4) With your girl most likely recovering in the hotel room, you'll probably just want to park in the general lot in case you need to leave early.

For those of you who are looking for something to do on Friday night, the SoCal RX Club has announced the return of Friday Night Go-Karting @ SevenStock!
Last year a few of the Mazda race drivers were in attendance to challenge our fellow rotor heads.

Details are here: https://www.rx8club.com/sevenstock-archive-186/friday-night-karting-%40-sevenstock-182915/
