Is there any vending or swapping of parts at the meet? I'm looking for a few things and plan on showing up with a beer budget and a parts budget. Which may vary depending on my success at finding people with one or the other in which to spend my money on.

Anyone know if Racingbeat is doing an open house on Sunday?

There is a vending license to be had, so some people will be selling stuff for sure.

Cool. Thanks. I guess I'll have to find you guys and buy a few rounds before I go parts shopping so I don't blow my whole budget on the car.

Seriously though I'm looking forward to finding as many of the RX8 club regulars out there as I can and meeting you all in person for a few beers.

Look for the black "MazdaManiac.com" and red "Paradox Performance" banners on a blue 10'x10' tent next to three BB, FI RX-8s.
I bet you will be able to catch up with many of the regulars there.

OFFICIAL INSTRUCTIONS upon arriving to SEVENSTOCK X on Saturday morning, September 22nd, 2007.
Entrance to the STAGING AREA will be accessible only on the SOUTH side of Gateway as shown by the yellow arrows on the map below. Gateway will be CLOSED to all other traffic (as indicated by the BLUE line). If you are NOT driving a ROTARY Powered vehicles, you may also park your car here at this staging lot.

You will directed to line up according to GENERATIONS in the staging area. There will be 5 lines: Old Schools, FB, FC, FD, RX-8. To ensure that we get SSX started with military precision, please follow the instructions given to you by our helpful volunteers after you have staged here. From here on, it should be a piece of cake! If you do not know how to back into a parking spot, please learn how to do so this week. We can't have you take 20mins parking your car and holding up the line. Once we have everyone parked, we can enjoy SevenStock 10!!!

Helpful Tips for SSX:

1. Learn to back your car in.
2. Don't do anything stupid on Saturday.
3. Please don't litter, throw your trash in the trash cans provided everywhere!
4. Don't STEAL any of our Banners! We paid for it! Anyone caught will be flogged on stage during the Raffle! I will catch you!
5. Buy T-Shirts and Raffle Tickets to support SevenStock!!!
6. Have a great time!

Thanks everyone and let's get those Rotaries cleaned, waxed and ready!!!

How about some official vendor instructions?
When is the setup on Friday? When can we get access to our booth again on Saturday?
When do we roll vendor vehicles in and out on Saturday?
What is the power situation?
Etc.

Vendors will set up along Gateway, yes outside on the street (it will be CLOSED all day because of SevenStock). If you're a Vendor, you will be getting instructions from James or LC beforehand, but I'll run down these quick questions.

Vendor setup will occur AFTER business hours on Friday, Mazda and their neighbors will still be working till the bell rings that Friday.

I don't know what you mean by "roll vendor vehicles in/out". Once cars are parked, they will NOT move until the event is over. Your cars SHOULD be parked in the vendors area by 8am on Sat morning.

As in ALL previous SS's, there is NO power for Vendors. That is my understanding, unless you have made special arrangements that I am not aware of.

For ALL participants who will be parking in the main Mazda lot for SSX, you will be required to stay until at LEAST 2pm, please remember that. If you have to go before that, then leave your car at the staging area and walk over to the festivities.

BigO: if you show up by 11, the lot will be full. You'll just park out on the street

I found it difficult to get an RX-8 rental, especially one with a large enough trunk to fit a renesis and a supercharger kit. So, embarrasingly, I've booked a Chevy HHR to get myself to and from LAX and all the running around in-between I need to do.

So I guess that will mean it will be easy to spot me. I hope i'll be cut some slack!

Cheers,
Hymee.

I'm debating on whether to bring my paintless dent removal kit and charge a fee to remove people's dents.
