XDEEDUBBX 05-22-2007 02:37 PM

my company pays me with peanuts =(

speeddemon32 05-22-2007 03:30 PM

car MIGHT be a little higher off the ground this time around. Graphics will have to change so they are not the same as last year. (year before that was no graphics).

SWEEEET.

oh yeah, just because.... My car has only had one car wash since Seven Stock 9! THats right, it has only seen soap and water once, and that was 2 weeks ago.

I shoulda waited untill this Seven stock to wash it again so I could say I waited that whole time. (problem was last time I drove it , it got sprinkled on, so it was a little to dirty for just a dust off)

Jedi54 05-26-2007 04:19 PM

someone tell Bern I'm gonna grab all the T-shirts again unless he learns to throw them MUCH higher. :)

I can't wait for this event... Must start planning new mods....

Rotary13B1 05-26-2007 04:32 PM

We managed to chip in, and bought him a set of these:

http://www.johnlewis.com/jl_assets/p.../230138072.jpg

He's gonna hit 50yards pretty soon.. so those in the back of the crowd will get more items.
:jump:

Jedi54 05-31-2007 03:16 PM

I think it might be time to update the FAQ's on www.sevenstock.org

1.1 What/Why is SevenStock ?

SevenStock is the yearly pilgrimage to southern California where
Mazda opens their doors to us, the rotary enthusiast, and allow
the event at the Corporate HQs in Irvine.

Mazda RX enthusiasts get together and celebrate one of the greatest
sports cars of all time the Mazda RX-7, and the greatest engine ever,
the Rotary!
No love for the 8. :(

1.6 Internet Resources

The main resource for information is at Sevenstock.org ....
. There is also the RX-7 Club Forum who has special
regional SevenStock section.

speeddemon32 05-31-2007 03:18 PM

so is this a pretty big event? Can I bring my Cobalt?

;)

www.rx8club.com

An RX8 ban on the event may change their tune....or simply meeting across the street to show the pride of 8 ownership.

Jedi54 05-31-2007 03:38 PM

that was originally posted in '04 so I'm sure they just keep forgetting to update it. Besides, I'm pretty sure Bern likes RX-8's WAY more then the does RX-7's... he told me so. (runs and HIDES)

:D:

speeddemon32 05-31-2007 03:42 PM

What if I put a 13b in the bed of the Tundra? does that get me in? :)

kwescott 05-31-2007 04:15 PM

no, but you'll probably make lots of friends and will get plenty of offers for the engine. Than a swift kick to the nutts to get you out of the Mazda corp parking lot.

rotary crazy 06-25-2007 08:17 AM

alrerady bought the tickets, making the hotel reservation today :)

truemagellen 07-27-2007 06:46 PM

I'm really pissed. This is the second year Sevenstock has been scheduled during high holidays. I contacted them about this before.

MazdaManiac 07-27-2007 07:32 PM

The problem is the 29th of Elul is a moving target for the Goyim.

Just come down and we'll blow the shofar together. God will be pleased.

Its a Jewish thing. Don't worry about it.

Will there be lots of Shikses there? :yumyum:

I wonder if the drive from Dallas could be made in a weekend. Is it worth 40 hours of driving in one weekend? [20 friday, 20 sunday]

I've got a plethora of places to stay, granted I could make the drive without some sort of amphetamine support...

MazdaManiac 07-29-2007 05:54 PM

20 hours is a long drive, but I'd say its worth it.
But I'm crazy, apparently.

There will be shikses as far as the eye can see; some of questionable quality, however.

Michael 07-29-2007 06:40 PM

My uggo filtration system is unparalleled, even with extreme impairment [inebriation] - and I'd be staying with one of excellent quality if I made the drive out...[How far is Hollywood from MNAO?]

I'm about as Jewish as you can get for a non Jew, from the Mezuzah on my front door, to my Jewish Godfather, to my double legacy status with A-E-Pi...if there were a chapter at SouthernMETHODISTUniversity...that is...

I prefer "honorary Jew."

MazdaManiac 07-29-2007 06:54 PM

Well, let this atheist from the tribe of the Cohanim invite you to the joys of Jewish life!

Ain't that something?
I'm thinking of having "services" at my tent at SevenStock for those out there that are giving up their Rosh Hashanah festivities for a day with the Zoroaster god of light.
Ahura Mazda > Adonai, anyway...

slavearm 07-31-2007 07:32 AM

MM, all is forgiven for blessing us with your avatar. Thanks.

shaunv74 08-06-2007 06:47 PM

Is there an itenerary posted somewhere on the sevenstock site? I only saw events links and they only had Saturday populated...or am I getting ahead of the game a little?

Nemesis8 08-09-2007 11:07 AM

I'll be there without my beloved 8, so who needs for me to buy them a beer?

rotorocks 08-10-2007 07:10 PM

Hey guys,
Anyone from West Palm, FL or in the area planning to attend seven stock?
I want to go, so let's hook up.

Rotary13B1 08-15-2007 12:25 AM

Just a reminder for those who are on the fence on attending. If you have NEVER been to SevenStock, our event is COMPLETELY FREE. Yes, that's right folks, zilch, nada, cero, nothing, not a dime to join in on the BIGGEST Rotary EVENT in the WORLD! We do however ask for your support by purchasing an event T-Shirt from our booth or even throwing a donation our way to thank us!

Heck! Buy a Banquet Ticket and come join us for dinner Saturday Evening after the event!
(We don't make a penny off that either! I'm thinking of a fundraiser BBQ next time hahah!)

ineffable13 08-23-2007 03:20 AM

i will be there

Flashwing 08-23-2007 03:25 AM

I know many of us from the AZ Mazda Club will be attending. I'm looking forward to checking out all the cool stuff out there!

rotary crazy 08-23-2007 07:25 AM

I cant wait to be there!!

lesper4 09-06-2007 02:30 AM

not sure if i missed something but maybe Bern or Rotary God or Zoom or someone might fill us in if there will be anything new or cool at sevenstock X this year. Last year there were the super chargers and the cx-9 :P what about this year? I cant wait to see the speed source car again (if its there).

Rotary13B1 09-06-2007 02:35 AM

They don't know anything, Bern doesn't even know. We play this by ear the day of the event!!! lol!

HAHA That's the whole point of SS, you gotta show up, I'll promise there's some very purty old schools that day, please bring your memory cards for the digcams! It IS the 40th CELEBRATION OF THE ROTARY ENGINE!!

BUY YOUR BANQUET TICKETS. I ONLY HAVE A FEW MORE TO GO!! (then I'm relieved of this duty! lol)

MazdaManiac 09-10-2007 08:37 PM

It is 12 days until SSX!
12 days can be converted to one of these units:

* 1,036,800 seconds
* 17,280 minutes
* 288 hours

rotary crazy 09-11-2007 06:47 AM

I hope there are some good looking rx-2's, I need some inspiration to finish putting mine together :)

Jedi54 09-11-2007 12:15 PM

digging the new avatar MM. Hmmm, you should sell CD's at SevenStock with all of your pics. :) (or free ones with purchases from the Paradox booth)

I STILL can't believe this event is just around the corner...

Nemesis8 09-11-2007 12:34 PM

Don't forget the Sunblock :)

Accuweather.com says "intervals of clouds and sunshine" and about 75 degrees. No rain in sight. I think we'll be ok.

NgoRX8 09-11-2007 01:22 PM

So Cal ftw!

Jedi54 09-11-2007 01:55 PM

it BETTER NOT rain!
Sunny So Cal weather FTW

MazdaManiac 09-11-2007 02:03 PM

WeatherChannel says rain is possible.

Jedi54 09-11-2007 02:14 PM

30% chance of rain on the 20th. hopefully it's light showers and they'll be long gone by Friday and saturday
