I think it is closer to being safe to say that the trip is on. 7 weeks away, so even if I did get another job, chances are it won't be starting till after SevenStock.
Things here are smoothed out more over the past week.
Just my weekly update.

So it looks like Sevenstock is a GO. 4 days till the 1 month mark, nothing much has changed on the job side.
My BHR midpipe and AP should be arriving sometime soon (no shipment notifications on either, but I'm not worried about them not getting here in time)
And next week I will be ordering:
- The roadwrap
- new set of pads and rear rotors (OEM) Have had a set of front OEM rotors sitting on my pantry shelf for about 6 months now, figure I'll finally get around to swapping them on.
- MP3 adaptor for the AUX + flashdrive thing (going to be worth it's weight in gold for the trip I think)
Haven't seen smoke in almost a week now. Once I get my AP my first to-do is to watch my O2 sensor to finally rule that in or out. Order a new one if needed.
My mileage on that trip a few weeks ago to MD and back posted a 19.9mpg highway, so my cruise mileage isn't suffering terribly, so my gas cost for the trip is still reasonable. If I end up replacing my O2 sensor, then assuming it was having issues, my mileage should go back to the 22-24mpg I could post before, and the gas cost drops a bit.

The one from this thread: https://www.rx8club.com/series-i-interior-audio-electronics-24/your-ipod-mp3-player-integration-solution-here-77790/ MP3 variant since I don't have (or care to have) an ipod.
Great reviews, seems to work for everyone. And my revision is high enough to avoid being excluded in that single exception.

BTW- Just note that when you see the sunny blue skies over the beatiful west coast beaches and palm trees... with wimminz wearing daisy dukes and bikini's on top ..... you have reached heaven.... AKA Southern California!!

Sorry, SoCal != heaven for me

The Rocky Mountains holds that place. Fresh air, low population, roads that can't go straight, and blizzards in the winter. :yum:

So thinking about some vinyl for the side of my 8 for this trip. This is just a rough idea at the moment, haven't even gotten pricing to see if this is viable or whatnot.

What the text says in the above pic. (minus the Word little cut/paste icon)

Silver as a base color, possibly reflective? Make it jump out in videos of the Socal caravan.

Yes I am, just the night of the 16th? the night before the AZ caravan. Should be arriving sometime around 5-7pm on the 16th.
Maxdamigz will be my co-driver, I suggested to him that he contact you and let you know about him as well, but don't know if he did so.

I've pinged Charles regarding Thursday night arrangements. I suppose we should pick a hotel for LA. If we do a hotel on the way to AZ, we can just pull over wherever we are and grab one. I will probably fly out of LA either mid-Sunday afternoon or early Monday.

PM incoming in a sec. The local guy up here says he can do it, and to grab him when he is online in chat, but hasn't been since.

Twitter account set up exclusively for the trip. SS13RoadTrip is the account, and attached to a throw-away email address. I will likely be deleting the account after I finish the trip.
MP3 adapter installed today, gotta locate audiobooks, music, etc... to use. Varying sets due to 3 different passengers to consider (max, sister, and no one
