Well....if RIWWP doesn't plan to, I could attempt and call the Mazda HQ up initially and see if I can work some of my old racing days sponsorship negotiation skillz into place to get some funds in return for publicity, and a blog of our trip (pictures and commentary) for their benefit to use in publication of their choice. Doesn't hurt to try.

When does the AZ group get to SS? I want to be in on the big socal ride in. I have maybe 9 hours of leeway to spare, not days unfortunately. Adding a day to the front takes 3 days from the end, and makes the rest of the trip too tight with no leeway and no rest period before being back to work.
