depending on how tightly you are budgeting this thing, dont forget the cost of maintenance. although small it adds up, how much will all that premix cost? what about the oil/filters or will you be getting changes done at Jiffy type places, and what is that costing.... and the most important of all - make sure you can afford to replace a tire

I wouldn't let anyone but myself change the oil. I have an oil container to slide under the car I use that stores up 14 qts of oil. Drain oil, take it to gas station to dump it, boom done. Just the cost of oil and filters themselves

 

That's what I'm talking about, you potentially have free beer from me in your future.

 

w00t, we can stock up on oil filters and oil. Tire repair, etc. I do think 2k + emergency fund would be enough to get this done.

apparently my company has a deal or whatever they call it w/Rockstar so i get them for free. I'm planning on bringing a bunch of them for 7stock too

 

don't forget a tire repair kit for the road, and I'm not talking about that gunk you spray into the tire to clog up your TPMS sensor. Bring the 'ol tire plug kit just to be on the safe side.

 

Don't get expectations TOO high yet, this is again RIWWP's trip and if others want to join or not depending if they can. Still got 4 months to go and anything can happen in between

yup, maintenance included already. Doing it myself. First change is in LA, im sure someone would loan a driveway, or i could do it at mnao... have a ceo sign something

The 2nd would be at my sister's or chicago area. Easy to find an autozone/advance to take the used oil.

 

OK....calculated time off ( I want days left over to use for other vacation)....no issue there.

Let's see how the sponsorships go...

 

Yeah sponsorships would be great, I'm not the one to ask for any type of sponsor. But in this situation it would help out tremendously.
