New RX8 Rims

New RX8 Rims
I just bought a new 2009 R3 RX8 and I'm looking around for a set of rims. I've looked into a bunch for the past few months but it looks like I'm going to settle for the ones linked below but I'm just wondering if it'll fit well without any rubbing or needing to make changes to the car. Currently I'm planning to leave the car as is and only changing the rims/tires for this first year or so.

stock wheels are an affront to the lines of the car and are very heavy which negatively affect unsprung weight which contributes to poor handling and acceleration. I'll do you a favor, I'll give you $600 for your stock rims so you can go buy your rotas?

Not a chance...they may cost more than that from the dealer, but not in the real world. I had a Evo X MR with BBS wheels prior to getting the 8 and the going rate for those wheels with tires is about $1500; they were also about $800+ each from the dealer.

Im not talkin about EVO wheels...going rate for R3 wheels is $1000+/PER. If I put up a for sale thread for all 4 of mine (which are mint condition, sitting in my garage protected from elements) for $4k flat they WILL sell. No one is gonna sell you an R3 set for $1200, keep dreaming. Your wishful thinking is admired I might add as well!

idk what you guys are talking about, but rotas are decent for the money.
I mean, with the $1200 you're going to spend though, you might as well get a nicer set of enkei's or axis super hiros which look exactly the same.

Never said I was selling, in fact im not. And FYI, I dont need to sell them to buy parts, I have quite enough money to blow as it is. But if i didnt, I would probably take the $3000 offer I got in a PM today (without any effort of trying to sell them). Since you have now resorted to car bashing, Ill be the grown up and bow down. Please post up some pics when you get some decent wheels. I cant wait to see them.
