squirrle chew on brake master cyliner

i have a 2011 r3 and have squirrel chew on the lines coming out of the bundle and onto the side of master cylinder . can anyone tell me what its for as I have no code showing on dash or obd11, yes I did search with no luck and I went to my manuals which ASH provided to fine I need a password which is nowhere to be found

That sounds like the brake fluid level sensor, but the description is a bit vague. You would get a brake exclamation point light if the are severed, I imagine.
