NJ SII questions

Let me start off by saying that i hope i put this in the right place as it does pertain to SII's. I used to own a 09 CWP Touring and it recently got totalled due to hydroplaning, down a hill, on a curve. This happened because of a female toyota driver whose suspension couldn't handle going down a hill and forced me to go far outside and eventually into a huge puddle, after that I hydroplaned sideways or slid for a lack of a better term for a good 200ft counter steering and eventually landed head on to the concrete divider, frame bent. Not to mention that they pitched the road the wrong way for water. Since my accident there has been 4 accidents on the same road and this happened 3 weeks ago.

TO MY QUESTION

Now that you know my situation, insurance company has given me 30 days to find a replacement ( im in college so basically they gave me 4 weekends ).

Unfortunately i got my touring for a steal and right now there is nothing we can afford but sports(which are all +100miles away from where i live), my question is, what will i be losing when switching from touring to sport??

From what i know,
6 CD changer
Homelink
auto dim mirror
fog lights

I looked on the mazda website and i saw that the 11 GT's and R3's had xenons, so does that mean sports dont? I also saw that the GT's and R3's had DSC and TCS, does that mean that little awesome button is gone if i switch to sport?

Finally, if there is nothing else on my list, the thing i cant live without are the foglights, i think the front is not the prettiest to begin with, but without fog lights that makes it worse, anybody know the price or if i could even put OEM fogs on a sport?

- Fog Lights are the same on All 2009+ RX8s (my nepew switched from a regular front to an R3 front and the fogs fit perfect (he has a touring)

- You dont really need the 6 CD changer... i mean who uses CDs anymore? You have an AUX input!

- Homelink.... people rarely even program their homelink or dont even know what it is. Answer me this, did you have yours programmed? If no, then you dont need it.

- Auto Dim Mirror... you can easily buy Aftermarket, if thats the case....or Tint your windows if you didnt already have them tinted before straight from the dealer...

You'll loose a lot of electronic distractions that keep you from the thrill of driving.

You won't have a DSC so you can't completely disable all traction control at the hold of the DSC button for ??? seconds (from what I have read here).

I think you also loose a few pounds, not sure how many.

Cavaet: I'm a noob with my RX8, just bought. I purposely chose a Sport because I wanted my sports car simple, i.e. KISS. I've missed that with other cars lately.

I hate to point out the obvious, but it appears that that "awesome little button" didn't help you one little bit when you needed it to do so the most. Are you really going to miss it now that you think about it that way?

BC.

Hydroplaning is a different discussion. My brother was driving my car and nearly went into a forest because he forgot to turn it off. Traction kicked in and caught grip, times like this make me want to turn it off. Personally id like it to be there, for reasons now and it helps with resale in the future if people are finicky about things.
