S2 Tuners

I know that things take time, and the fact that the S2 hasn't been around too long is maybe one reason that we havn't seen a product like the AP yet, but is there anything we can do to help? Maybe some groups we can contact, forums we can post on, numbers we can call, donations that we can make? Someone is bound to crack this ECU open. If at the very least we can get a tuner that can clear codes like midpipe codes for example, that would be a step in the right direction.

I know it's a long shot, but there has to be someone we can swindle to helping (i hope)

Why don't you just start looking for a company that makes wiring harnesses?
Given your small market and little interest wiring a standalone to work with the stock pcm looks like the only realistic solution.

The only advantage that the AP has over piggybacks is just the ability to write to the memory banks via the OBD2 port right? I guess if that is the case then it may be feasible to start looking around for a company that can help design a harness

Nope, it has many advantages. Think about complete, detailed and comprehensive (stock pcm's capabilities) vs raw and approximate (99.9% of the cheap standalones).

Yup, after doing some reading last night it really made me wonder how these "one size fits all" PB's would even remotely mesh well with the stock tunes unless you had someone sit down and tweak the living daylights out of it .
