Right interior light randomly on when you know you didn’t push the button in?
This has happened several times over the past couple years. I will get in my car to go to work and notice the interior light is on, button pushed in. The light is hot so I’m assuming it’s been on for the whole night. I always assume I must’ve forgotten the night before. The past few days I’ve actually been paying attention and taking pictures the night before of my car as photo proof I didn’t not turn the light on. So I just got off work and drove home, didn’t touch the lights at all. I turned off the car and the interior lights come on like theyre supposed to, except this time only one light is on. The right one, With the freaking button pushed in! So I’m curious if someone else has dealt with this or what could explain the light being on and pushed in. My car is the 09 R3.
P.S. I started paying attention when a Burger King worker said she thought I had a girl in the car with me when she saw me with the drive thru camera. I gotta call a damn exorcist.

The button feels pretty sturdy to me. Feels like you do need someone who's actually pushing it to turn it on.

In all seriousness, I know sometimes these switches go bad, but usually they are stuck off rather than randomly turning on. Does the switch feel sturdy to you?
Worst comes worst, take the bulb out. Problem solved.

The right switch (the one that comes on) is as sturdy as the left one.
