not sure if this is normal
but when the heat warmer is on, the passenger side seat does not get warm
it might get a tiny bit warm if left on a long time, but definitely no where near as warm as the driver seat

is there any recalls on this? does anyone know what might be wrong?

 

Why would there be a recall for cold buttitus ?? Recalls tend to be only for safety items. While a girlfriend with a cold butt might cause a unsafe situation Mazda wouldn't think so.

If its under warranty take it to the dealer.

my car is one month old not six years old
that guy has a different problem

recalls are not just for safety items
recalls are for any part of the car that is known to be defective that the dealer has decided to replace at no charge
they can be related to safety such as seat belts but recalls can also be related to things such as noise and defective car seat heater assemblies

I have a bit of driving around to do this holiday so I guess I'll bring the car to the dealer next week and we can see what the problem is

 

What the 2 kind gentleman were trying to get at is that you should try searching through the forums to get the answers to your questions. Also, you didn't give any information whatsoever on your car, other than the fact that the butt-cheeks feel colder as a passenger.
