paint difference?

paint difference?

did you notice the bottom edges of your doors have thicker paint.
seems like they did that for rust prevention?

no but in the two months I've had the car I can tell you that it seems like the leading edges could use a thicker coat. 1,500 miles or so and I've got more little stone dings and chips than the 15K miles I put on my last car. I'm wishing I had bought the Lamin-X front pieces...

yea my bumper is all covered in small nicks.

I definitely see this on my car. It has a coarser texture, too. Hopefully it will help keep it in decent shape longer by protecting it from stone chips.
