Newbie questions

Hello everyone,
I'm working on importing my own RX8 to Israel. The local rep refuses to support the car for various reasons, namely over-heating due to the weather (apparently this is a directive from Japan).
Can anyone comment on owning & servicing in similar weather (hot, dusty with a chance of war)?
Any other input on what I should expect would be appreciated.
The car in question will be a 2009-2010 model (either the new body style or a very "young" old style), manual. Not sure if there are differences between the one sold in the US compared to GER, but I'll be importing from one of the two .

As for overheating, you should talk the the owners from Arizona for advice. They have tried to remedy that problem and may have a solution. Their daytime temperatures can reach 120 F/50 C during the summer day. They also have dust storms. War, well not much can be done to prepare a car for that.

Seriously, a larger/high flow oil pan and oil cooler fans have been advantageous.

I'm sure the BHR/MM folks will chime in from sunny Arizona.

Actually, 50C is quite rare here. More of a ~35C temp range. Anyone from Texas or CA with input?
