Window motor replacecment.
For the 3rd time, a window motor has once again crapped out. I've had to replace driver and passenger in the past. Now the driver is messed up again. ffs. I'm DIYing it this time and not going to the dealership after I called and got a quote on the part. $195!!! + $45 labor. I checked parkmazdaoemparts and their price is $172 for part G22C5858XF. I found this generic one right here.
Are those any good? And how hard is it to install?
Also could someone give me a guide on removing the driver side door panel? I saw some for series 1, is it the exact same process?

Same as OEM part, at least it was when I replaced mine. Tape window over frame of door to avoid the window falling when you remove the motor. Same process as removing door panel as Series I. After you replace the motor you have to recalibrate the one touch window by cycling the window up and down. Easy DIY job, 15 min or less start to finish.
