Upgrading BOSE tweeters

My ears are starting to go (I'm 60 and suffering from tinnitus) but I've bought a pair of Alpine S-S10W tweeters to upgrade my BOSE stereo iaw 2 threads here: replacing the stock tweeter and soldering in parallel with the stock tweeter . I bought these as I was told that these were the latest incarnation of the Alpine S Series SPS-110TW tweeters in that first thread with the same 1k crossover and 12db slope (specs here). I'll be fitting them in conjunction with dynomat sound-deadening and an 8" Focal sub in a purpose-built enclosure in place of the ski hatch.

However, I now see their impedance is 6 ohms. So,
  • Is this impedance too high?
  • If I use them, which is likely to be the better of 2 options?
Thanks in advance for your advice.

The impedance is fine, if you omit the Bose tweeter. They have been great in my car since installation in the first thread you referenced.
