remote wire

So I read the topics on running wires. I tapped the 12v power point next to the aux but its keeping my amp on constantly. I even tried the pink/black someone mentioned but that did nothing. What's the deal?

The pink black in the rear should be switched 12v. Are you sure you got a good connection with a vampire tap. You need to use the red tap not a blue

Maybe thats it. I used blue on the pink and black. In fact I used blue on all of my taps

Guess Ill try to find some red taps and do pink/black again

run it to the fuse box in the front right near the clutch pedal run it to the audio fuse and that would be the best possible signal

I had originally used blues on all the taps I had and was getting flaky connections on all of them. switched to reds and works like a champ
