We all love the 'Mazda RX-8' script which shows up on the climate/radio display when
you start the RX-8
Is there anyway to change it to something more personal- like
Mazda RX-8 R3, or 9000 RPM or My Rotary, or something else?
any suggestions/thoughts ?

When my friend first saw that he thought it was hilarious. I never understood it either, its like they think I am going to forget I bought an rx8.

 

I was able to change it in my Mazda6. I think I saw a video someone put up showing something unrelated but I noticed his was custom on a series1. Did you try looking in the owners manual? I haven't bothered looking because I like that it says RX8
