Yeah I've been reading a lot of warning about how expensive FI on renesis, not including the supporting mod, and the risks.
Dunno, but currently I daily drive my 8, and only want to have a short more pulls on the 2nd & 3rd gear to reach 150 kmh, when the road is empty at night, no trackdays (no track available here).
I want to keep the stock functionality, I've read that REW swap needs a standalone ECU and that I would lose the DSC/TC stuffs? Unless using that adaptronic piggyback ECU?
Also saw someone on UK forum working on that PP renesis, but no reliable result yet.

Currently I'm still working on restoring the car condition from the previous owner (dealership sucks here, even they don't have stock for S2 oil filter). For example is this motor mount.
So I still have a long journey to learn from someone else kaboom but I'll just share what I've found so far since we are looking for the same stuffs for S2

On my REW swapped 8 w/adaptronics, DSC/TC worked when I was streetported with a normal idle. Now that I am bridgeported with a 1,500 RPM idle, the 8 factory computer doesn't like the extra taken in at idle (measured by the MAF) and is turning off those functions. If I flashed the ECU for a higher idle, the car may allow DSC/TC to work again. Just haven't cared enough to try.

I finished my s2 turbo but having a problem with tuning. Can standalone such as haltech tune without problem? what difference with standalone and remap for FI?
