But i probably couldn't afford it anyway. The shipping from Japan would be astronomical, especially in the wake of the earthquake/tsunami. Praying for them still.

The grill is made by RE Amemiya and can be found on their site. Get your currency converter ready and this might be a really good time to buy.

 

I know someone else said they seen a tow hook like that for 400 but how much did you get yours for?

I have a 2009 RX8 R3 in the same white colour and have decided to go for just the RE Amemiya grill without the lip.

Question - is the one pictured here the CF version or is it FRP painted metallic black?

I'm in 2 minds as to which one would look visually better....

 

Did you have any issues with fitting the front grille?

I've managed to fit the splitter and fog light covers with no issues but when I take out the OEM front grille theres a load of plastic that doesn't allow it to sit flush and the screws aren't long enough...

Do you have mesh on the back of the grille or is it just open?

I'm looking to get the Full RE kit including CF sideskirts and the rears too It's just this bloody CF grille doesn't want to fit unless I cut away behind the original one!

If you want the Authentic RE Amemiya parts then they will need to come from them in Japan so no way around it...

www.japanparts.com is probably the best best. or you could try dealing direct with RE Amemiya themselves.

 

I would contact Paul at Mazmart. From time to time he gets shipments from Japan so you may be able to work something out with him.
