My SARX buddy jcabbie took some damage on the highway and went to see my buddy at his body shop after receiving this
It is still dirty and needs a wash, wax, and polish but it looks great. They had to clean it up a bit but fitment is good. The front under tray lined up good but the splash guards don't so some plastic fill in panels need to be fabbed but it's no biggie and not noticeable.
All that is left is some mesh for the grill. We will use something high quality.
The white spots are pollen from his drive over to the house where I snapped some quick pics
YES, he needs a drop bad. One thing at a time. But it was sitting at an incline. He also has the Racing Beat Revi intake and dual tip exhaust.

Wow ... obviously I haven't seen it in person, but from the pics the fitment looks great. I don't know how I feel about the embedded splitter though ... I was never a fan of those, on any car to be honest, but at the same time I feel that my non-r3 is missing something in regards to a lip/splitter ... Would love to see how it looks after it gets dropped.
+1 great fitment, but pass on the splitter, looks great though, just not for me. IMHO just like the MS kit was the best body kit for S1s, ill say the same for S2s - R3 kit. Paimon Soror, I strongly reccomend yhe R3 or Knightsport kit.
Whoa, that is clean
Besides the hood, headlamps, and the things you've mentioned; what were the S1 parts used to finish this? As for a mesh grille, how about the Shelby Super Snake's?

The Mz kit is sick. But cost a 1/3 of the cars worth
He is debating side skirts now. Once he is low and has side skirts, the car will looks much more complete.

Hahaha yup i hear ya. Grabbing a R3 front and skirts would cost me a solid grand i assume
Wow ... interestingly enough the R3 front and sides (painted) from japanparts costs the same as the Mz complete kit (unpainted) ... minus shipping ~$1700

Yeah he and I were both surprised about how far the splitter stuck out, but the only pics we had of it were in white so I guess it is less noticeable in white. It is very sturdy though and with a proper under tray it could be very functional on the track.
I remember why I hated this forum. It makes me want to do stuff. Stuff I know I can't afford with my startup business... I guess I'll just be happy to dust off the interior... *sad face*
